1. General Requirements
We encourage you to present your research at our poster session! To ensure a successful presentation, please note the following requirements:
Posters must be:
- Printed by the authors before the conference (PAIR does not provide poster printing, does not reimburse printing costs, and does not offer poster printing facilities at the Faculty)
- Prepared in either portrait or landscape orientation (portrait orientation is recommended)
- No larger than A0 format (84.1 × 118.9 cm)
- Sufficiently large to be readable from a few steps away (the minimum size should be chosen so that text and graphics are easy to read)
For poster preparation, we recommend using PowerPoint or Canva.
2. Required Elements
Each poster must include:
- Title of the work
- Names of the authors
- Authors' affiliations
- List of cited references / sources
3. Recommended Content
We encourage posters to include (in any form) information corresponding to the following sections:
- Introduction
- Research aim, research questions and/or hypotheses
- Methods
- Obtained results or – if the study is ongoing – expected results
- Discussion and conclusions (or – in the case of projects at an earlier stage – doubts and challenges)
- Study limitations
- Acknowledgements and/or conflict of interest statement (if applicable)
- Contact details of the poster authors or an indication of where more information can be found
Important: Flexibility and Creativity!
Keep in mind that the sections listed above are typical but not mandatory. You may therefore:
- Combine sections
- Use more descriptive or original headings
- Reduce text to a minimum in favor of clear diagrams, charts, and illustrations
If possible, try to tell the story of your project visually, using text as support for the message rather than its main vehicle.
